I finally got my keys done, so this phase of the project is complete!! :D

I had a couple missed traces on the 600 board but all in all it is a great success IMO.

I have tested both boards extensively and all is working as it should.

Bonus data seperator project works flawlessly and is setup for motor control with hexdos if i can ever find a copy

Grant, this is really an amazing project.

From the bare board, it looks like your replica takes modern Cherry keys, which is wonderful. I'm interested in the details of the keycaps you had made. Were they custom made by Cherry, or elsewhere? Would you mind sharing information on how others can have keys made as well, when you run out?

Also, do these keys fit the standard cutout on a C1P case?

Dave.

The keys were custom made buy signature plastics for me , they are doubleshot keys the same as originals so the legends will not wear cherry does not do doubleshot anymore, it should fit in the case cutout but they sit lower to the board
i looked into the keys from WASD like on the superboard III but thats the best they could do, mind you these are not cheap

Were you able to get the some high res images of the boards before you built them up?
if so, is there a place where they can be downloaded?

Cheers

P.S. your machine is a work of art!

I am pondering doing a Superboard II emulation using a PIC microcontroller (I think I can get almost the whole 600 / 610 board into one chip!). The keys are a major stumbling block. I see you had some made. How many sets would still be available, and at what cost? I just recently learned that there are still die-hards out there using my HexDOS, and I think it would be great to have a teaching tool that acts like an early PC, with the ability to see inside at what makes it tick.

Was there a CEGMON for RevD?
Does anyone else get a Syntax error when deleting a line then pressing return? Happens in both video modes?

I know this is an old thread and all.

Since I recently got my old Superboard/600 out and working again, I was wondering if there were any of the 610 boards left. I never did have one of those back in the day and would love to add one to it.

Thanks
David

If Grant(Klyball) doesn't have any left, then I still do. Also, Grant has shared his Gerber files for the 610 and 600 boards. They can be downloaded from the archive, or from Github.

Grant, I see that the image links in your original post have expired. Do you think you could upload the images as attachments, so we can have them permanently available here? They are so gorgeous, I'd hate for anyone to miss out!
