No vertical sync signal when trying to use VGA monitor with my SBII

Post by fharo »

Hi everybody,

I am a proud SBII owner from Seville, Spain. Last week I tried to connect my TFT VGA monitor to my SBII using a Video to VGA converter. The result was a rolling image, so no vsync signal problem.

The converter is this: https://www.amazon.es/mondpalast-S-Vide ... onvertidor

Has anyone conneted SBII to a VGA monitor with success?

I attach a video showing the issue.

Thanks in advance!

Oye como va,
Welcome to the forum. No, this never worked for me - not sync properly and poor video. You can get a good picture with old LCD TV with AV input tho.

Hello!

I didn't read your comment, no notify alert in my inbox :-(

So I could see my SBII output on an old LCD via VIDEO IN signal?

I tried it on a Samsung CRT Video IN with success!

So I will buy an used LCD TV and will try it!

Thanks!
