Are there any Model 600 Rev D replica boards available?

Post by royedmund »

I've just about completed the restoration of my Superboard II Rev B system.
So now I'm looking for my next project and I'm considering building a replica of the Model 600 Rev D or maybe a UK101 (I hope this clone doesn't go against canon). Does anyone know if there are any replica Model 600 Rev D or UK101 bare boards available? I have most of the 7400 series TTL chips, a spare 6502 CPU, two N8T28N Signetics IC Quad 3-state Bus Transceiver, and some 2816 EEPROMs for Monitor, BASIC, and Character ROMs. I will need only to get a suitable crystal, key switches, and keycaps. Since it will be a replica I might even look at using modern key switches.
If the boards are not available where can I find the Gerber files for the 600 Rev D or the UK101 board? Thanks

Hi Roy,

Gerber files for the 600D can be found here:
https://github.com/osiweb/Hardware/tree ... o/OSI_600D

Search the forum, you'll find plenty of construction hints, discussion etc.

There are some replica boards to make up a C4 to be found on Ebay which might be a more useful setup?

Cheers,
Leslie
