Superboard II Rev B Simple SYN600 upgrade to CEGMON ROM
SYN600 upgrade to CEGMON ROM
EEPROM 2816 Monitor ROM replacement
Pin 20 (assigned to non-inverted phi-2 clock) is now connected to GND
Pin 21 is connected to +5V to ensure no writes to a 2816 EEPROM can occur.
Pin 18 is now connect to U18 – pin 4) /MCS signal which is active-low

Great inspirational post and video. You may be able to modify another socket to plug into the original one. Wire wrap wire and a Bondic UV Liquid Plastic Welder to provide some strain relief to the wire, and to keep it place.

That is a great idea. I had considered making a daughter board with the new ROM but this is a much simpler suggestion. Thanks.
