Had a death in the family around Christmas, so everything had been thrown into chaos for a while. We're still dealing with estate legal issues, but yes, the latest round are in. I'll try and get emails out this weekend, so boards can ship next week.

Got my boards today. They are superb. Now that we have good reproductions of the 502 and 540B, along with Klyball's 470z and Glitch's GW-OSI-RAM1 universal RAM/ROM board, any old rusty C1, C2-4P, and C4 case has just become more valuable.

Now we could really use a good open design for a slick DIY wood case as well.

I've got plans for an open source OSI case, but I've got a bunch of work ahead of that, including an open source S-100 case. Probably won't be wood, though :)

Is there a parts list and placement diagram for the 540B?

I would be interested in a reproduction case for a C1P and one for a C2-4P.

I suppose the hardest bit would be recreating the middle folded metal part of the case?

Finally getting around to stripping down the OSI 510 rev C board that Bill Dromgoole donated for the reproduction efforts! I got it working yesterday, figured it would be best to know the board wasn't a dud from the factory before paying for scanning. I dumped the 2716 EPROM.

While I was working on it, I discovered that my usual rev B 510 board had stopped working. Since it appeared to be a CPU board debugging kind of day, I also pulled out the other OSI 510 board I've got, which I've had for 10+ years and never had working (the other one just worked, so the other got stowed). It turns out that one is a 510 rev C as well! For some reason I thought it was also a rev B, which uses 1702As. This one has the mask ROMs for both the 6502 side and the 6800 side, which is nice as Bill Dromgoole's board doesn't have the 6800 parts populated.

Anyway, I got my other 510 rev C board working, so I've got something to go against for undoing the modifications on Bill's rev C board.

I will also be sending a 400 board in for scanning. Not ultimately a super useful reproduction, but I like its minimalism. I'll be running more OSI 495 prototype boards when this batch goes off for fabrication.

Hi Glitch,

I already scanned a 400 board, and some other boards, a while back, so no need to send your 400. I also scanned a 440 board, a 542 keyboard (the original, not the B or C), and something else, but i forget. It's been a while. I need to get them processed and up on the github.

Cheers,

Dave
