Thanks Dave. Your site at OSIweb.org is a great one-stop-shop repository of OSI resources.

Re: OSI Challenger 4P Retrochallenge project complete
Congratulations!!! I have yet to read the entire writeup (It's quite lengthy), but have skimmed through it already. Will read it this weekend. Phil Yes, it's not an article as such...rather a series of regular updates as in keeping with spirit/requirements of Retrochallenge. Quite time consuming to...

OSI Challenger 4P Retrochallenge project complete
Just posting the link here for those that are interested. I learnt a lot about the 4P in this project! I also wrote a little demo program which you'll see if you scroll towards the bottom of the blog page.

Re: OSI C4P cassette interface
Yes, I've got both a C1P and a C4P and they both load and save without problems. There seems little difference between them in the cassette save/load department.
I use Audacity and save/load the files as Wavs from the hard drive via the sound card.

Re: 527 RAM expansion board switches
Awesome that you are doing an OSI retrochallenge, and nice web site! Good for you that you calculated the chips to check rather than just going down the line. That may seem obvious to a trained engineer, but it's not obvious to everybody, and despite your modesty in describing your skills on the we...

Re: 527 RAM expansion board switches
Well this looks good... It was a single faulty RAM chip. Not bad considering there are 48 on the board! http://www.classic-computers.org.nz/blog/images/2014-07-05-full-ram-527.jpg Incidentally I'm playing with this OSI gear as part of RetroChallenge month. Users of this board might like to see progr...

Re: 527 RAM expansion board switches
Update:
I do have the board configured correctly. Dave confirmed it via the classiccpm mailing list a couple of days ago but the letter ended up in my Gmail spam folder for some reason? I've only just seen it.
Obviously a crook RAM chip or socket somewhere.

527 RAM expansion board switches
Hi Guys, I’m wondering if any OSI gurus out there might be able to help me with this problem? I have a OSI 527 RAM expansion board I want to add to my cassette-based C4P.. . The board has some unconnected switches/jumpers on it. Apparently these can be used to specify exactly where you want to put t...
