Re: DOS/65 Richard Leary
I sent a PM to Rich Leary a few days ago, asking if he might post binary images of bootable disks. He replied that he could, and expected to post disk images (for the C1P) this Sunday.

Re: 525 Board
The link I posted is to a Canada-specific site, for some reason. For the U.S., change the .ca to .com. For other countries, click on the flag icon at the upper right and select your country.

Re: 525 Board
I saw this link posted somewhere as being the connectors to use to connect boards to the OSI bus. I thought it was somewhere on this forum, but apparently it wasn't.

Re: 500 Board
Since Dave seems to recommend doing so, I am posting the needed ROM files after all. I had forgotten that only ZIP files can be posted as attachments here.

Re: WinOSI lives!
It seems that paste from the clipboard is in fact included, and actually is too easily triggered. It happens when I am not trying to paste anything, just clicking in the emulator window to reselect it. I'd suggest putting this function in a menu, not triggering it by clicking in the window. (And if ...

Re: 500 Board
No, the attachments didn't seem to take. Anyway, files of the needed code can be generated from the latest version of WinOSI by selecting C3-OEM mode and using the "Save Code" option in the File menu to save $FE00-$FEFF and $FF00-$FFFF.

Re: 500 Board
Can EPROMS really lose their programming over the years, even with the window covered? Anyway, only two are needed for serial use, the 65A monitor program ($FExx), and the 65F3 reset code/floppy bootstrap ($FFxx), which is the same for serial and video systems (it reads the $FExx ROM to determine wh...

Re: 500 Board
If you have a 440 (and a backplane), and the board is running, you should see the H/D/M? appear on the 440's video output. You wouldn't be able to respond, though, since the board would (almost certainly) be looking for a polled keyboard, which only works with the 540. Maybe Klyball could burn a 65A...

Re: WinOSI lives!
After being away from this board (and not in good health) for several months, I finally logged back in and saw this new version of WinOSI. Quite an impressive set of changes. The most welcome is the ability to run 65U. The cut-and-paste from screen to clipboard is also much appreciated. The opposite...

Re: 500 Board
Hi people. From the photo that was posted of this board, it seems to be configured for use with 540 video and polled keyboard. To use it with a serial terminal, the 65V PROM (the middle one, which is mapped to $FExx) would have to be replaced with a 65A PROM. The 65A code is available in one of the ...
