I have a copy of OS-65U V1.1 Operators Manual June 1978.
Is this what you want? Approx. 88 pages.

Re: Web-based OSI Emulator
I like it. Good work. I tried it on my Android phone. I didn't have a lot of luck though. The emulator ran just fine but I could only use the fixed buttons like break and run. I could not get it to accept virtual keyboard entry of the letter C, for example. I am using a Verizon Motorola Razr Maxx wi...

Re: Request for 5.25" boot disks
I had one of the exhibitors at VCF 8.0 make two copies of the 5.25 boot disks for me but I don't have a disk system operating just yet.
I could send you one of these to get you started as I won't need it for a while.
You can understand that I can't send both of them.
Where to?

Re: Getting my C2 up and running
Dave, My 500 board was intermittent also at one time. I tracked it down to a cold solder joint on one of the bus connectors. I used a scope to look at the waveforms on each pin at the backplane. One of the signals was only about half the amplitude of the others. After re-soldering the connector pin ...

Re: Help repairing Superboard II
I usually don't completely remove the chips. Just loosen each end a little bit then push the chip back into the socket. The motion of the chip legs against the socket pins is enough to clean the contact. This is especially helpful on memory boards where there are so many chips. Of course if the chip...

I am replying to my own post so I can bypass the three attachment limit and post the last advertisement.
This is the final ad from December 1976 Byte magazine.

OSI and Byte Magazine
I got to wondering when did Ohio Scientific first start to advertize in Byte magazine. I decided to research the first year of Byte. But what is the first year of Byte? Byte's first issue was published in September 1975 which means only four issues in 1975 and there was only one OSI advertisement in...

Re: restoring a second OSI
The 542B has extra functionality over the 542A keyboard. Such as the tone, noise and A15 board interface circuits. Maybe you can just remove the unneeded chips and just concentrate on the keyboard interface itself. Look at page 7 of the 540A schematics for the only required chips. http://osi.marks-l...

OSI 400 Series Manuals
I have some scanned manuals for OSI 400 series boards that I would like to share.
I tried to attach the files but PDF's are apparently not allowed.
How can I upload them?
