Re: OSI 541 Board
Jeff, It looks like data bits D1 and D4 ( via U4F ) in the Color RAM address ( is it $DEXX ) space control CHARGEN / PCGRam selection via U5G F/F and U3G Gate to select data from CHARGEN or RAM via U6F . D-F/F below that @U6G controls preset and clear of the F/F and has a pwr reset state. Do those b...

Re: OSI 541 Board
Jeff I may have the 600 version. I haven't been near it lately as its part of my RevB system that needs a major tidy up.
Can you PM a link to your schematic. Im guessing there may be some control addresses in the DXXX area perhaps. I have no software either but happy to collaborate on something .

Re: Pegasus FBASIC Compiler
I want it mostly because I always thought it was cool. I always just wanted to see it in action. It would be cool if the source were available as well. Yes it will be cool to have. Useful for some programs and also instructional for some budding programmers. Looking forward to John's software list.

Re: Pegasus FBASIC Compiler
"Since FBASIC is a subset of Microsoft Basic, it did require some modification. The major modification involved changing the initial two dimensional array to a one dimensional array that FBASIC can accept. The integer and lack of string function that FBASIC requires did not seriously hinder the prog...

Re: Designing a general purpose memory board
Sorry I didn't realise this was your design Jeff and was wondering why Bill had come up with a second !
I believe Grant got Bills design working fine. I think it caters for your ( and mine) above requirements with the bank options - does it ?

Re: Hello
Welcome John. That really is bargain basement stuff. Your so fortunate it has cold started that far after all this time. Hows the memory I wonder? Look forward to seeing your list of disks and manuals. And what are all the boards? I still have working 8" drives but on a video system. If your disks h...
