Re: OSI reproduction project
I thing a good approach might be to make addon boards that attach to a 620 that way they can be for 6xx series or 4xx and 5xx , Yes indeed. Hows the 620 coming along Grant,I would be keen on one.Could it be done using resistor packs ? I hope to offer a 600 style sound and PGraphics board with 48PBU...

Re: OSI reproduction project
I understand some PCB capture programs allow you to import a scanned graphic (hi res) of the bare board and go from there. Doing a schematic from scratch for the likes of the 3 CPU board is a lot of work. Yes Grant has done a great job with his boards to date. Perhaps the project needs to gather inp...

Re: OSI reproduction project
430B would be an awesome addition to my kit. I can see I will be upgrading my PSU to cope with these. Are we interested in upgrading these designs before doing boards or just making replicas. Simple additions ie Eprom/PROM selection,4K MON ROM decode,ACIA address, baud rate, CPU CLK etc would make t...

Re: OSI 560Z Clone?
Could and optional 6502 or 6809 CPU sub board plug in to the Z80 socket or separate socket be added to the 560Z somehow ? ?

Re: OSI 560Z Clone?
560Z Utility package source listing is on Dave's site : http://osiweb.org/manuals/560Z_software_listing.pdf The software for the 560Z I/O requires 430 board TTY interface as is and appears to use OS65D v2.0 vectors ? (see $3BC6 table). Or is C2 65D totally different from that for C4 etc. Code is on ...

Re: WP-2 WP-3 Ohio Scientific Word Processors
The C4_WP2 uploaded earlier uses $3179 as its workspace start. $3279 or $3A79 is normal for other 5" systems. Indirect file usage will allow you to load and edit Assembly language and BASIC source files from these disks with WP2. I have added WP2.1 that modifies the indirect file markers in WP2 to b...

Re: WP-2 WP-3 Ohio Scientific Word Processors
Great. Thanks Dave. Will be nice to get WP-1B and WP3 editor images up sometime. WP-1B integrates with the Assembler offering auto line numbering, a full line editor and global find and replace. WP-3 was preferred over WP-2 for its friendlier editing and extra word processing features. Brings back a ...

WP-2 WP-3 Ohio Scientific Word Processors
I have managed to create a working image of WP-2 the early OSI Word Processor from dumps sent to me by Mark Spankus. Unfortunately the WP-3 disk dump has a corrupt track 6 sector 2. It looks like the disk was booted on a system with less than 24K working memory. The Bexec* loads this sector at $5100...
