Yes that would be useful to use the full 32col video. Install Cegmon as well then add Premier ROMs and HexDOS and it starts to look like a worthy SIII contender.Jeff wrote: I think I might dig into the BASIC assembly and see if that can be changed.... bwa..ha ha ha!

Re: The OSI C1P Page
Scott do you still have a working OSI system? What was that "small DOS" ? Nice thing about the A2 and OSI is how easily they can communicate together. RS232, CFFA ADTPro to PC to OSI etc. I converted OSI extended monitor to run on the A2 complete with a DOS command parser. You make some valid hardwa...

Re: C1P Owner in Germany
Welcome Stephan. Great to hear from another OSI user and what a nice C1P. We are happy to help sort the RS232 for you. What test equipment do you have ? I have a working C1P RevD with serial @ 600/2400 baud that I use with Tera Term and winOSI emulator on the PC. I will check my RevD cct against the...

First note the position of the data separator trim pot. Then make a very minor adjustment either side of th...

Re: C4PMF not working
Further investigation: With a faulty Tk0 0 sensor the drive will still Boot. I turn off the 24V supply and move the head manually to tk0 and it will boot. It will step in to tk 1 from tk0 and will again boot but if it is stepped in to tk2 it will not boot as it appears to only step out 1 track. That...

Re: C4PMF not working
Jeff, A faulty track zero sensor will cause the drive not to step if you press D from the boot prompt. I have a temporary fix to my 8" drive after the sensor lead broke. If I moved the head away from TK0 and tried to boot it loaded the head but did not move it. The TK0 sense line was LO always! Does...
