Re: Decoding the startup boot process of the C4P/MF
Jeff, there is a fully commented OS65D3.2 listing on the net. Have you got that?
V3.3 is probably the best to use IMHO. The boot process for that is different of course as it loads a new keyboard and screen driver. I have details of that if you want.
Are you after 5 or 8 '' images ?

Re: D&N MEM-CM9 problems
Phil is this a wandering TxCLK.?? If I remember correctly, the presence of a TxCLK in the write "window" records a logic 1.
Check /replace the CAP in the TxCLK monostable.
Else did you see any 1s coming from the ACIA TXData at all ?
Does this drive write OK on the C4 ?

Phil, looks like you were tearing your hair out over this one! Enjoyed sorting this with you and thanks for enduring the ugly bugs along the way. Quite a buzz sharing your success in the end. " Well, I'm actually so stoked that I'm not sure what to do now!!!!! " - that's just the beginning mate , yo...

Hi Philip,
Is this a problem with your OSI disk controller or the floppy media? What OSI and what controller are you using? Does it step the drive to trk 0 when attempting to boot ? More info needed ...

Re: Software disk archiving and disk creation
Dave, I found more info and have updated Upload3. I have created a bunch of .LOD files of OS65D from my image files and successfully re created a boot disk from these using winOSI. Will upload these soon and detail the process I used. I hope to serial these to my Superboard and using the same proces...

Uploaded C1P_OS65D338_1.65U an 8" image for winOSI or dump to your OSI. This is the same as the OS65D338_1.65U image for the C2/C4 but with the appropriate changes for the C1P (standard video) ie inverted keyboard, screen format and ACIA locations. If you find any bugs or have comments please post h...
