By the way, the same routine running with the loop J3 2-3 (no connection to other serial device) you can measure those voltages at ACIA-2 . They are just reversed ie Tx lo will Rx lo.

Mark's note appears to be incorrect. J3-4 (normally the pole of CASS/RS-232 switch) connects the ACIA receive input (PIN2) to J3-5 for CASS or J3-6 for RS232. As per FBOSI article which is correct. Yes, if your not using the switch after breaking W10 you link J3 4-5 for CASS or J3 4-6 for RS-232 Bes...

I hadnt seen this post from Steve before (just prior to my joining) and wondered if anyone has tried deploying any of this ? Is my Rasberry Pi suitable for Python 3 ?

Yes I OCRed it from Reds journal pdf Dave. I have an old version Presto Page Manager I used but I was wondering I someone could get better results than my OCR before I start correcting it. The second page I get even worse results.
