Yup, and I can't even take credit for the NIM game. That was from Phil. Otherwise, I'd have nothing.
However, with the activity picking up, and more of us getting our systems to work, perhaps I can't neglect the software page any longer.

Re: Help - trying to restore C1PMF
If that section has been extensively rewired, then there's no telling what it's configured for. Look at the 600 board schematics on OSIweb.org to find the schematics for the serial section. One thing you could do is remove all the jumpers and restore all the cut traces, and then go forward from that...

Re: Help - trying to restore C1PMF
There should be three pins, TX, RX, and GND. Perhaps only TX and GND are hooked up for a line printer?

It sure looks like 60 Hz. Where were you measuring this waveform?

Re: Help - trying to restore C1PMF
Hi Tom, Sounds like power is not the problem. I don't think the 4.93V/5V is an issue. Since you have no video output, you should concentrate on the video circuit first. Start with the oscillator with the bad waveforms you mentioned earlier. Can you post pictures of the waveforms? If the oscillator w...

Re: [Solved] Serial puzzle (was DISKREAD / RAWDUMP)
Sadly, I so far only have mostly various OSI demo and distribution disks, a few games, and a few really lame programs. I do have some unmarked disks, one of which had OS65D on it, so perhaps I can find a backup of something interesting. But I'm pretty sure my development disks were labeled, and I ca...

Re: [Solved] Serial puzzle (was DISKREAD / RAWDUMP)
I spent some more time with the C4P today: Since slow transmits worked, but fast transmits didn't, I suspected an issue with the TDRE bit. Sure enough, scoping the chip shows an endless loop waiting on the ACIA: loop_0.png D8 (red) is the /CS line. The yellow trace is the serial transmission (no act...
