Re: OSI 600 Superboard II replica
Still waiting. It looks as if Vince is clearing out a bit of a backlog.

Re: 527 RAM expansion board switches
Hi Terry, Welcome! This is a small community, but you'll find there are some sharp folks here. And interestingly, an outsize contingent of talented Kiwis :-) Well this looks good... It was a single faulty RAM chip. Not bad considering there are 48 on the board! Incidentally I'm playing with this OSI...

Re: Running (6 Digit) BASIC on a C4P/MF
That seems right. Most later machines came with the SYN600 ROM, since support for serial systems, ASCII keyboards, 74 MB hard drive were not required for most C4/C8 systems.

Re: Running (6 Digit) BASIC on a C4P/MF
Yes, there are different versions of the monitor ROMs. I am aware of the SYNMON1 ROM (for C2/4/8) which includes routines for polled and ASCII keyboards, serial and video machines, hard disk boot, floppy boot, 65V monitor, and ROM BASIC support. There is the SYN600 ROM that has the C1/600 routines f...

Re: Running (6 Digit) BASIC on a C4P/MF
Hi Jeff, This is really cool. Any chance on making the source available as well? I also have your diagram of the 541 board, which I need to post. I apologize for taking so long on that--just a lot on my plate recently. Also, your loader program will be a nice tool to have as well. Thanks for sharing...

Re: OSI 600 Superboard II replica
The ROMs expects 32x32, but the ROM can be modified to support the 64 char line length. If there were some way to allocate 2K video RAM by setting a flag, then this could also be used to emulate a C2, if the 28x64 display is readable. The 28 lines would be the middle 28 lines out of the 32 in the me...

Re: D&N MEM-CM9 problems
Hi Dave, thanks for the reply. Ok, that's great. I couldn't understand why the /CS0 line was pulsing like that. The reason I've been thinking I have an issue is the following: After I fixed the issue with the D&N board with replacing the 74LS27, I put the board back in and saw that I was now only g...

Re: D&N MEM-CM9 problems
I missed the detail that you were using the monitor. When you're using the monitor to alter memory, then the monitor program, as it waits for and processes the keystrokes, updates video, etc., will frequently be accessing page 0 and page 1, which will cause the pulsing activity on /CS0, so the chip ...
