Re: Adding 527 or 520 board to C4PMF

The 2114L chips can draw up to 100 mA each, so a fully loaded 527 board may require 4-5A. I think the stock power supplies were 4.5A at 5V, so each 527 board may require its own supply. You could replace the stock supply with something beefier, and power all from the bus. However, I don't think the ...

Re: Assembly Manual for SB II

Jeff, this is awesome. I've never seen this one before. As Grant says, now that his replica is available, I think this will actually get some use. Fantastic.

Re: Interest in OSI 495 Prototype Boards?

I'd be interested in knowing which service you used for the scanning. I've got some more blank OSI boards I could do the same with. Do they provide drill files along with the gerbers? Do they also do multi-layer boards? That requires shaving off one layer at a time, then scanning, then repeating. Th...

Re: 500 Board

BTW, Dave, if you are reading this, it is still not possible to attach files to private messages. I thought you said you had changed that. Hi Danny, I will look into it. In this case, why not just add them to the forum thread? Even if the files can be obtained elsewhere, there's some benefit in hav...

Re: WinOSI lives!

Both the old and new versions of the emulator appear to run perfectly on OS X under Wine. That requires downloading and installing the wine package from WineHQ. Here's the link: WineHQ: http://winehq.org Mac download: http://wiki.winehq.org/MacOSX You'll also have to install the XQuartz library. I u...

WP6502 manual

I just placed the WP6502 v1.3 manual on the ftp site, in the todo/dave/wp6502 directory. The todo/ directory is where I'm placing material that I have not yet had a chance to link on the web site. The website WILL be updated soon to include all the new material. I also have a disassembly listing of ...

Re: WTB: 502 CPU board

Also, is that upside down chip a 74154? If so, I'll bet that EPROM in the monitor-ROM slot is CEGMON, as the published instructions on modifying the 502 board for CEGMON used a 74154 decoder. If so, that means when you get this board up and running, you'll have CEGMON, which is very nice.
