Re: OSI 600 Superboard II replica

I think he shipped it on Sept 15th. I didn't get a shipping notice. It arrived on Sept 19th.

Re: OSI 600 Superboard II replica

I received mine, and it works great! Now I have to figure out a permanent home for it. The 32 x 32 video mode is a bit odd, though. BASIC will still only allow 25 across the screen, so your text listing is squeezed slightly in the middle of the screen (see pict). The video memory on the sides is add...

Re: C4PMF not working

Just an update..... I received some OSI system floppy disks from Nama to see if my floppy drive would boot. I hooked the drive to my C4P and pressed D and nothing happened. The light on the floppy stayed lit, the drive stayed spinning, but the head didn't move and the screen didn't change. Floppy dr...

Re: Running (6 Digit) BASIC on a C4P/MF

Hi Steve, the two Roms are identical inside. They just map different parts to visible memory space. I haven't yet checked out the other Roms, but I will.

Re: Running (6 Digit) BASIC on a C4P/MF

Hi Dave, A quick answer on the ROMS for the C4P vs the C4P/MF. They present the different startup prompts, therefore, they must be different. But that isn't completely true. I have fully documented, in note form, which I will make presentable to the masses, all the differences between the roms for t...

Re: C4PMF not working

I was leaving this until I had some time. I am not getting any colour from the video board. Just varying degrees of grey blocks etc. when I turn on the graphics using $DE00= #$05. I fiddled with the small blue pots on the board, but none would produce colour. Does anyone have any ideas what might be...

Re: Running (6 Digit) BASIC on a C4P/MF

OK, Save and Load are working now! They basically behave just like the cassette system, except the data now saves and loads through the modem port. I have attached the executable. Please unzip and read the ReadMe.text for further information. This works really well in the C4PMF Emulator too. Let me ...

Re: OSI 600 Superboard II replica

LOL. The thought of Sawing off the keyboard made me cringe too! No offense. Maybe for the C4P replica it could be done in a Mac Mini form factor. Kind of supply your own keyboard and screen. The usb could be power and serial I/O at the same time. I just find that I can't type on that old layout anym...
