Re: C4PMF not working
If the noise is still evident on a CRT I have to find a CRT.... those things are rarer than OSI computers! it could be the mux of video and cpu access with VAS at U56 on a RevB and D Connect 02 clk from CPU to U56-2 after cutting trace to U56-2. That is actually my next project as the video output ...

Re: C4PMF not working
With my limited electronics background, I would be suspect of the 2N5225 transistor.BillO wrote:What chip/circuitry is used in the C4P as a video driver?

Re: C4PMF not working
Hi All, I would like to improve the video signal on my C4PMF. And of course, I know nothing (well, almost nothing) about video signals and how they are generated etc. If you take a look at the screen shot in the previous post, you can see "snow" in the black background, and also, the signal itself i...

Hi Jeff,
Yes, definitely start a new thread in the Projects forum. Also read through my trials and tribulations with my C4PMF unit. http://osiweb.org/osiweb/osiforum/viewt ... ?f=3&t=134

Re: Building the KLyball 610
I have completed building the Klyball 610. Here is a hires photo: http://www.jeffferguson.ca/osi/610/CompleteWith24K.jpg And here is a photo of an original OSI-built 610, Rev B: http://www.jeffferguson.ca/osi/610/OSI_610_revB.jpg (Dave, you might want to post this to your Hardware archive, as there ...

Re: Building the KLyball D-13
1. What's the recommended procedure for calibrating TR1 when using the D-13 with the 610 board. What pins should I hook the probes to and what waveform\timing should I aim for? Hi Tom, The procedure for calibrating TR1 is detailed here, however I believe the timing for an 8" drive is different: htt...

Re: Building the KLyball D-13
Just an update on my Superboard-610-Klyball D13 boot issues. I tracked the problem down to a faulty RAM chip in the 8K of RAM on the Superboard. I guess one (or more) of the 2114's just got too old and started to give up. I now have my funky Epson Combo drive hooked up and full access to both drives...
