Re: Building the KLyball D-13
I thought that the twist told the drive which drive it was. If no twist, then how does each drive know when to respond? Do you set the DS0/DS1 differently?

Re: Building the KLyball D-13
Can I use both the "A" and "B" connectors on the floppy cable when connecting 2 drives?

Re: Building the KLyball D-13
Probably a stupid question but I'll ask it anyway. Can you run dual drives without each drive being dual sided?
How would you hook up a second 5-¼ inch floppy drive?

Re: 510 board build
Since adding the klyball separator to my c4 the board stack is getting a bit crampt. I was thinking of a case for them and the floppies and power and all the boards as well. Something like this: http://m.ncix.com/products/sku/23679/1469 I like the retro look. Of course the keyboard would need a case...

Re: Building the KLyball D-13
Here is a corrected diagram (I had 1 trace incorrect) for the Dual Sided Floppy Mod for the 505 board. I also placed all the jumpers and cuts on the component side.

So far using the KLyball 610 board with my original 600 board the memory errors are completely different than with my memory board. They are still there, but very different. What happens with the 610 board is that on every 16th run through the memory test almost every byte between 12352 and 13311 s...

Re: Boot disk for c1p
Yes. I had those exact problems with my setup....lots of error 9's I don't have any answers at the moment, but here is a short program that will dump what you 'supposably' have written to your disks so far. It dumps to your serial port. RAWDUMP.HEX.zip If your disks formatted correctly, you should s...

Re: C4PMF not working
Today, I reached a milestone on this project. For the first time, I am able to boot from floppy and have an OS running on the machine! C4PMF Boot Screen.jpg It has been an arduous task to reach this point. I have learned an immense amount and really enjoyed it! Whats Left? - Build a cool enclosure f...
