Splitting up Disk Images into Track and Sector Files
Some people here have been re-building floppies from floppy image files. This involves splitting the image up into track and sector files and then serially transferring them to a host and writing the track and sector chunks one by one. The splitting up task is somewhat tedious, so I wrote a program ...

Re: Building the KLyball D-13
Also complete. (I don't ever plan to connect 8" drives.) I do plan to add the motor control IC shortly.

Re: Building the KLyball 610
For the last week or so, I have been trying to get a floppy drive working with the 610. As it turns out, (after MANY hours of testing and hair-pulling) I discovered that I made a mistake when building it. The symptoms were that the 6821 was just not doing anything! No input, no output, nothing. I fi...

Re: Connecting a USB TTL Device to a Superboard II
Hi Bill, I tested the Vcc and Gnd Pins with the unit just connected to the host computer, and there is no voltage across them. Basically, the unit provides a USB connection for a device, and needs to be powered by that device. (But your concerned are much appreciated!) Here is the circuit info sheet...

Re: Connecting a USB TTL Device to a Superboard II
I wanted the device to be separate from the Superboard and connect by a cable. J3 was the perfect candidate. TX Data and Ground are already present and there are 3 unused pins.
