The Superboard does not have an RS-232 interface by default. In todays world, the better interface is USB. So I went about connecting a USB - TTL device so I could transfer data from my PC to my Superboard.
Here is the USB-TTL device, available on eBay for about $7.00

Re: RS-232 mod for C1P
Tom, were you able to get the RS-232 working or did you go with a UART to USB solution?
I picked up a couple of the UART to USBs and I'm planning on hooking one of them up to my superboard tomorrow.

Re: Building the KLyball D-13
In order to calibrate TR1 I had to short pin 9 on the OSI connector with pin 1 of IC1 (I hooked to J3).
Then I adjusted TR1 for a negative pulse width of 6 microseconds.

Bill, check out the 65C21. It's a modern replacement that should keep up.

I haven't ordered yet, but I'm thinking a 6502B from unicorn should do the trick. It's rated at 3mhz.

Speed up your C1P or SBII
I found this article languishing in my old Challenger documentation. I remember making this modification to my unit; My very first OVERCLOCK!

Re: Designing a general purpose memory board
I was digging through my old Challenger Doc today and came across this wonderful little tidbit:
I put this together sometime in 1980. It just shows how long I have been trying to add memory to my C1P!
