Hard Disk project

I am am interested in the OSI hard disks and would like to gather any info i can on the boards and drives

590,592,594,596,598 i have schematics for the 590,592,594 and hoping someone has info on the 596 and 598 plus any doc or reference material.

Making the connection give the desired results, if your using hexdos for RTC you need the 1 sec pulse .

Just wondering if anyone one with a real 610 has this connection in copper, its not on my original 610, but it looks to be a later production run as it has solder mask on the back

Hi Sounds like you have it going, you need to load the track you want to write in memory say $4000 then use save command ie SAVE 01,1=4000/8 where SAVE TT,S=XXXX/P TT=track # S=sector # XXXX= where data is P= pages to write do track zero last you can call it from track 13 CA 0200=13,1 GO 0200 I thin...

Can some one check there 610 board if there is a connection between pin 9 of U10 and pin 1 of U11,
my 610 is missing the trace so the replica is also missing this trace.

Ok, After what seemed like forever I have Successfully reconstructed the OS65U disk all 74 tracks of it.
Seems to be all working, I made a copy of it with itself to be safe (took about the same time as building 1 track :shock: )

Ok using the above info I can get a ok prompt and basic is working , so that means im on the right path as far as I can tell from examining the memory track 7,8,9 are correct I will do a dump of them to check for a bad byte or? I did rewrite them still no luck I would assume track 1 through 6 should...

but is a slow process
