Re: Help with a C4PMF

In fact, it is freezing when tokenizing newly entered BASIC statements. Thanks for the lead. I test to see if there's something unique about the statements that could be problematic. I don't have another copy or version of BASIC to test. Will have to try downloading and serializing a new copy of BAS...

Help with a C4PMF

Hello, I'm working with a newly acquired C4PMF and OSD65 v3.2 NMHZ and hitting a few stumbling blocks: 1. single-drive so I'm keying in one of the old single drive copy programs in BASIC to get to a place where I can make copies of the one good disk I have. 2. Entering BA from A*, the system reports...

OS65D AC for C4P

I'm restoring a C4PMF and have a question: * Did OSI ever produce the version of OS65D specifically designed for controlling/interfacing with the BSR AC control modules? * If I were to scrounge up an old BSR AC module, where could I find detailed instructions on how to interface it with the C4P? Tha...

C1P items on EBay

I'll be listing for sale some C1PMF items on Ebay in the next few days: my Ebay seller ID is thomas_blu Set of original OSI BASIC ROMS -- working, pulled from a 600 RevB CARGEN V1 ROM -- working, pulled from a 600 RevB OSI C1PMF 5.25 floppy drive case. No floppy drive, just the case. PSU has been pu...

Re: Building the KLyball D-13

I hit a snag. 600B+610+D13 all connected but 610 board shorts (the PSU clamps down) when I apply 5V to molex pin 14 at the connection to the D-13. Being a relative novice may be the issue here. I am drawing the 5V directly from the 5V rail of the 610 board: soldered a wire to the rail and connected ...

Re: Building the KLyball D-13

Thanks Grant. Actually, I'm working with a SA-460, so 5.25 drive. Will report back on the TR1 calibration soon. Tom

Re: Building the KLyball D-13

Grant, D-13 is built, 600D is working, 610 is working. Almost ready to connect a 5.25 floppy drive. Two questions I'm hoping you can help with: 1. What's the recommended procedure for calibrating TR1 when using the D-13 with the 610 board. What pins should I hook the probes to and what waveform\timi...

Re: Building the KLyball D-13

Grant,

I'm assembling the D-13. Very exciting. Quick question... Which one of the .156 connectors is Pin 14 and which one should be connected to pin 1 on the original OSI 610 board? Just want to make certain I match up the D-13 with 610 correctly.

Thanks

Re: Help - trying to restore C1PMF

Hi Dave, Thanks for the suggestions. I have a digital scope and will look for the signals and check the cable for continuity. The file I keep referring to was provide by Grant who generously packaged everything a person would need to build OS65D disk 5 from scratch, track-by-track. His instructions ...

Re: Help - trying to restore C1PMF disk drive

I'm back to troubleshooting the disk drive on my C1PMF. I most likely have a bad logic board on the drive that is generating a faulty trk00 signal. But I'm still ruling out basic things. Here's one basic thing I'm hoping folks can help with: What is the appropriate orientation of the small, rectangu...
