DQ Secretary, Editor for 65D 3.2, more (5.25")

This is a modified version of an OS-65D 3.2 5.25" floppy that has several enhancements over the standard version. 1) It can be booted on either a C1P or on a C2-4P or C4P, it configures itself for either. 2) The BEXEC* loads a version of the OSI Editor, very similar to the one in 65D 3.3. Source cod...

Re: Hi

Hi Dave(s), Sorry, I don't have source code for my changes to Pico-Dos, nor for the Gomoku game, as I did not use an assembler in creating them. I will probably be posting more software soon. I do have source code for at least one thing, a version of the OSI editor (for Basic, similar to the one tha...

Re: Hi

Dave, I restored your original key controls to the C1P Monster Maze, and uploaded it to the Forum as part of my "Enhanced Pico-Dos" package, which is now in the Files section. As per your idea, I suggested in the documentation alternate keys for left-right movement that can be used in place of V and...

Enhanced Pico-Dos

A lot of software for the C1P (and the C2-4P/C4P) was not compatible with the 65D disk system, but I think it is still desirable to be able to load it from/save it to diskettes (or diskette images), rather than having to use ASCII listings, even if the simulated "tape" files are a lot faster than ac...

Re: Hi

Hi Dave, So are Q/A and V/B the keys that you used in your original C1P version? That would mean that the use of A/Z and slash/right shift were changes that were entirely mine. Yes, you had all rows enabled, which I guess is what you mean by "Peek only", but the values being checked for in the versi...

Re: Hi

Monster Maze (the C2/C4 port) is in the ML-load subdirectory of the WinOSI emulator download (http://osi.marks-lab.com/OsiEmu13.zip). The filename is Monster-Maze.lod. Who did the porting and when, I don't know.

Re: Does anyone remember Polk Hobby?

Naturally, I now found my original user name on this board (Danny S.) and the initial post I made when I was briefly using it three years and some months ago: see viewtopic.php?f=5&t=73

Re: Found some Tapes

There is a program available to convert the Kansas City Standard tapes used by OSI to text: see http://www.netbay.com.au/~dxforth/#kcs

Re: Hi

Dave, It's me again. I successfully switched the keys back to normal on my copy of the C1P Monster Maze game - I had swapped the bytes at $13EC and $13F8, which should be $BE and $DE, respectively. BTW, the C2/C4 version of the game is included with the WinOSI emulator, so it isn't true that there w...
