I picked up a C1P on ebay

Hi, Just picked up a C1P on ebay. I hope I didn't outbid anyone here. if so, I see there is another one available ;-) I'm hoping this will work on arrival. Hoping also its a 600 Rev.D board inside. I'm going to try installing the 610 board into this now that I have all the part to populate it. Steve

Re: Software disk archiving and disk creation

I brought up this same topic a while back. It seems even more important as time goes by. We definately need some standard format. It seems we're all having hardware issues. I've been too busy lately to even look at my OSI machines. I am willing to look at the DISKREAD source once I get a functioning...

Re: Anyone need 8T26s?

A couple weeks ago I ordered 10 from Unicorn at $1.49 ea along with a bunch of other chips. Still waiting for them to arrive. I have a superboard and 610 board that can use them.

Re: Great OSI resource!

I thought it would be cool to design a little floppy controller board with built in data separator, standard pc floppy connector, and maybe 32K ram for the superboard that would connect to the 40 pin expansion. Or, basically a 610 replacement/enhancement. A single 32K sram chip is a couple bucks now...

Great OSI resource!

Dave, Just a note to say what a great job you are doing with the main site. It's great to see the additional info and scans. I like how you've taken the time to go through old journal issues and pull out the interesting articles! It will make finding things much easier. The main page seem more invit...

Re: Parts sources (was: New data separator and motor control

Thanks! I have ordered a bunch of the above from unicorn... 6821's, 8T26's and 2114L's, some misc items, and a package of common ttl chips. I should be ready for projects now!

Re: New data separator and motor control card

I just picked up a 610 board off ebay... no paddle board, so I'm hoping things go well with this project. The 610 board is missing all the major chips, but I managed to find some 6850's on ebay. I still need to find a 6820 and some 2114 rams.... does anyone know of a good source?

Re: Updates to Peek(65) collection

Just had a chance to look at some of the issues. Lots of great info! Thanks for scanning and posting. I have some of the missing Aardvark journals but I'm currently fighting with the auto-feeder on my scanner. I hope to get them scanned and sent to you soon.

Re: D&N Micro Products scans

The mittendorf board only connected to the expansion socket, so when it was installed the machine had two separate video outputs. I think I would have preferred your mod if the output combined with the normal video and had special features. The tosie hacker board was definitely interesting. It had e...
