Re: D&N Micro Products scans

Hi Dave, I go through cycles between my vintage computers. Most of the time I concentrate on the Commodore stuff, but then I go back to OSI for a while. The last few months I've picked up some OSI things and I'd really like to get a few projects done. Scanning those Aardvark Journals and some of the...

Re: Pico DOS

I will have to try archiving the disk. I have a few other disks as well.

Yes, a tutorial would be nice if anyone can write one. If the images could be archived on this site that would be great as well.

Pico DOS

Hi, I picked up a copy of Pico DOS on ebay... just the disk. Well, actually there were two disks but I don't know if they are the real complete Pico DOS. One is labelled "PICO DOS--DEMO C1P 82-0140" and the other is "PICO DOS --- BLANK C1P". I don't have a working C1 machine with floppy drive so I c...

Re: WTD: A13 card or detailed pictures/schematics etc.

Hi Steve, If I could draw up a rough (very rough hand drawn) schematic will all the right connections, switches and jumpers, would you be able to transfer this to Eagle and layout a board design that we could get fabricated? Unfortunately thats all I can offer considering my lack of PCB layout skil...

Re: WTD: A13 card or detailed pictures/schematics etc.

I'm in the same boat... I recently bought a 505 board with no a13 board. I could use a couple boards with data sep circuit and standard connector. I do have some basic eagle cad skills so I could help out if needed.

Re: OSI 2C4P fix

welcome, Yes, the break key resets the machine. I actually removed the break key on my original machine and installed a switch, since I was forever hitting break by mistake ;-) It's great you have things working! I'm interested in how you are powering the machine via switching supply. It's something...

Mike, that's great! No, I'm not familiar with those. Sounds interesting.

Floppy drive options

Hi, I have two c4p systems..one has a d&n floppy controller and mpi51 drive (if I recall). Second machine is cassette based but has a bad 502 CPU board. I recently picked up a 505 CPU board (with floppy controller) on eBay. Unfortunately it is missing the a13 paddle board. Anyway, I want to try addi...

Python OSI hacking

Take one Superboard II, connect it to the mac, send out the roms through the cassette port, decode the wave files back to binary and run it into the Py65 6502 emulator then write more scripts to emulate the video and keyboard, add a telnet connection and viola... an OSI BASIC job processing service!...
