Re: Sunday with my SuperBoard II

Seems a few days away and I miss a lot! The forum sure seems to have picked up lately! I'd be interested in a couple of these boards. My superboards aren't working right now, but when they do this will be a nice addition. As a side thought... Would it be possible to have an option to map the ram sta...

Re: Software Wanted - HexDOS

I was just pointed to this forum by Bill O'Neill. I am the original author of HexDOS and am considering his urging to place it in the public domain, or perhaps some other status. I still have the original source code, on PC compatible media. I recall implementing Forth on the OSI, but I don't find ...

Found some Tapes

Hi, going through some old boxes today I came across my old OSI cassette tapes! These are "originals". I knew I had them somewhere but they have been misplaced for probably 10 years. I found the following: OSI SCX-104 C2-4P/C4P Sampler (Six programs) 10-15-79 OSI SCX-107 Modem Routine C1P/C4P/C8P OS...

Re: Superboard Owner

Hi Klyball, Welcome. What you need to do is make some high res scans of the boards. This would be really invaluable for anyone wanting to make a replica in the future. I would certainly be very keen to recreate the disk board. Phil Let me put a vote in for that too. Blank PCBs like that are extreme...

Re: CXP board

Hi Paul, Good to see you here! The board looks really nice, thanks for the info. I attended a few TOSIE meetings back in the day and we probably met, and you may have even repaired my C4P cpu board. I have one of your TOSIE hacker boards that I never fully completed. But I was able to use it to moun...

Re: OSI C4P cassette interface

I remember tape loading being fairly reliable while I had one, but of course tape decks vary in features and quality. Volume usually is the major factor, but also check if there is any noise cancelling or "bass boost" options/switches that might change the audio signal. Also, I wonder if the machine...

Re: Running (6 Digit) BASIC on a C4P/MF

Jeff, are you saying the contents of those two roms are different? I thought 7937 and 7935 are just manufacturing date codes for 1979, 35th or 37th week? Very interesting what you are doing. Have you looked at the various 3rd-party monitor roms that are available? CEGMON, NEWMON, WEMON etc? I believ...
