C4P dual floppy on ebay

C4P with two floppy drives (but no disks).
Ebay auction# 261281476008.
Current bid is >$1000, with 6 days left.

Looks like it's in great shape. I would LOVE to have this system but it's out of my price range :(

Steve

PS: Maybe we need a separate buy/sell/auctions forum here????

Re: Spacebar bracket replacements

Nice! I'm really intrigued with 3D printing. I'm waiting until the prices come down and the build volumes go up, ultimately to be able to print a case big enough to hold a Superboard-sized motherboard. Speaking of keyboards, has anyone thought of replacing the standard OSI keyboard with something el...

C4P restoration(s)

Moving my C4P discussion to a separate topic here. To summarize: I recently bought an "as-is" C4P from ebay hoping it might be able to get a working system. Unfortunately it had previously been inhabited by a mouse, causing rusting and other nasty stuff inside. The power cord was chewed up and the c...

Re: been a while...

Hope its fixable Steve. I see no condition comments were given in the auction details. Is it buyer beware ? Not getting a reply to your question would put one off a bit. Are there many of these come up on Ebay.?? Im starting to look here in NZ to see what I can find in garage sales etc... Good luck...

Re: been a while...

C4P arrived today. My bad luck continues... One word: MOUSE Ya, this machine was home for a mouse - of the non-computer kind. Shoulda known by the chewed power cord. As such, there is much rust inside. Could not remove one screw to get the bottom off, so I ended up drilling it out. Stock C4P inside....

Re: been a while...

Well, thanks to ebay, I now have another C4P on the way. Lets hope this works...

BTW, Dave, someone sent me a copy of the WEMON monitor rom, so I will try to get that uploaded soon.

I'm determined to get a disk system of some kind working so I can make some disk copies... badly in need of backups.

Re: been a while...

I can feel the urge to do some OSI stuff coming on ;-) It usually hits me a couple times per year, but has been absent for a while now...

Re: C1P Plastic case on ebay

Since I didn't bid, and the price was so low, I'm SURE it probably works.. that would be my luck ;-)

I too would like to see some pictures.
