No, the attachments didn't seem to take. Anyway, files of the needed code can be generated from the latest version of WinOSI by selecting C3-OEM mode and using the "Save Code" option in the File menu to save $FE00-$FEFF and $FF00-$FFFF.

Hi Danny,

I will look into it. In this case, why not just add them to the forum thread? Even if the files can be obtained elsewhere, there's some benefit in having right here where they are being discussed.

Since Dave seems to recommend doing so, I am posting the needed ROM files after all. I had forgotten that only ZIP files can be posted as attachments here.

Sorry to drop out of this but life intervened. Anyway, I'm eager to get this 500 board working somehow. As it stands, I have two choices:

1) Try and get a serial ROM and run it as a board or in some kind of superkit configuration
2) Get a 480 backplane and keyboard and use the 440 board and run it as sort of a 'Challenger' setup.

I think #2 is likely impossible. I've never seen a 480 backplane come up independently of a full OSI system. I have seen an OSI keyboard come up just once in that time also. I could conceivably wire up a period correct ASCII keyboard (since I understand that was done) but I do not at present have the ability to create a backplane. I'd need artwork or something to start on that. All that seems to lean towards going the serial rom replacement route.

My understanding is burning 1702 ROMs is difficult, and burners are not readily available though?

Hi Falter

Hi have backplanes. And if there is any interest I could do a run of keyboards
